BeantwoordenVerwijderenWe were right down in the very South of Germany last week, but I went to boarding school in Wilhelmshaven on the German North Sea coast for a good few years - a long time ago! And I clearly remember going to Groningen for an athletics competition against a local school. We were made so welcome, really lovely people who fed us very well (maybe so we wouldn't run as fast). I still love to visit the Netherlands - love the Christmas market in the caves in Valkenburg :) Happy times!
